Do i refrigerate my mealworms?

No. You honestly shouldn't even feed mealworms. Maybe once every once in awhile. Try superworms. Mealworms have a thick shell and are hard to digest for most chameleons. If you do get superworms, be aware they are really high in fat and she be fed once or twice a month. Not every day or multiple time sin one week.

Are you saying dont refigerate them. If so why not i have had mine in there for like 2 months do i need to throw them away?

I dont feed them to my cham only like once every 35-45 days

Thats what i said, wont they die if their not refrigerated?

sticking mealies in the fridge slows their growth so they won't turn into beetles as quickly. It is fine to keep them in the fridge, the door is a better place for them because it won't get as cold and less will die.

TO be honest, not only does it slow down their growth but it slows them down. They dont move around much for your chameleon to notice when you go feed them.

Plus why would you want stinky bugs in your fridge? Just my thought

If you're only feeding them to your cham once or twice or month, wouldn't you want to refridgerate them to slow their growth down as to not have a bunch of beetles in a few months? Unless of course, you want a bunch of beetles... :p (Might be a good thing if you're trying to breed them!)

Heres some clarification. Mealworms can be kept in the fridge with no adverse affects, and should only be fed to you chameleon a few times a month because they are very chitinous. Superworms, look like mealworms, but should not be refridgerated as it kills them. Superworms make good staples (along with crickets or silkworms, etc) as long as you gutload them well.
