Do your chameleons come when called?

Well, mine don't come when I call them either but...

I work from home and Ziggy and Melissa are totally unafraid of me. Each morning I have a plate of worms I place next to my computer and then each come down and take turns eating them.

I guess they are so used to seeing me work at my computer all day that I'm not a threat to them.

In addition, my large male veiled, Osama and I are drinking buddies. Attached is a picture of he and I when we've had a few too many tequila shots.

Anyone else have similar experiences?

See pics below.

nah he doesnt come to my veiled.. :p
haha but... he comes to me all the time when we are on the couch
with friends... he always runs to me.. or even when the cage is open or he see's me in front of the cage :D

I named my female kitty. That way I could say "here kitty kitty". She looks at me like change my name and I might come!

Correct me if I'm wrong but I'm pretty sure chams are deaf, I rmbr reading that somewhere. Sometimes I forget though and still talk to them! Haha

Can you show a photo of how did you attach the perch branch for your cham to come out? Or is it a free range set up?

Chameleons are not deaf. 200-600 Hertz is their range and all that vibration from branches moving making them hyper sensitive.

Very cool. I work from home and have my cage set up in my office too. I hope it has the same effect and he isn't scared of me. He doesn't seem too threatened by me but he certainly isn't coming to me or letting me hold him yet.
