He looks good to me, good weight, good skin, nice big eyes. Looks alittle old, maybe 2-3 years.
He is a great looking chameleon! I would love to see him outside in natural sun and fired up
I agree with nightanole's opinion; he looks quite healthy.
The lighting on those pictures arent the greatest. I opened the curtains and just took this picture.
Wow, I love all the "red rain"! He is a beautiful chameleon, definitely no outward sign of illness.
1.5 years old looks about right to me![]()
Yep! That big boy looks healthy. Nice colors too.
How is his appetite?
Thank you. Well I got him on Sunday and he ate 2 big horn worms. Then he ate one horn worm on monday. Didn't eat anything yesterday and ate 6 dusted crickets today
That sounds about right. When they become adults it is recommended that they eat around 5 large crickets (or the equivalent in other bugs) every other day. A big hornworm is equal to about 5 crickets. It sounds like he has a perfect appetite
Have you given him a name yet?
I'm actually having a hard time giving him a name but I'm thinking of marley
Well, you can't go wrong naming him after a musician that created more great songs in a short 32 years of life than all subsequent musicians have created since his death in 1981. Unlike yellow labs, I have seen no other chameleons with that name![]()
