Does his eyes seem ok?

We brought him home yesterday. He is still hiding from us a lot so the picture is not the best but I'd like to know from all your collective knowledge does his eyes seem healthy? Do I need to manually give him more water?

Do you think they are sunk in? If that’s the case, watch the urates. Stress can cause that to happen too and moving to a new home is definitely stressful. Do not manually give water yet. It’s risky cause the airway is in the front and you can aspirate him. I think he looks fine personally. Are you sure it’s a he? Can you post a pic of the back of his rear feet?

Hi. I agree that your cutie looks ok, and that he looks more like a she. Male veileds have prominent nubs on the heels of their back feet called tarsal spurs. Below is the pic of one of mine when he was just about 4 months old and his vertical patterns are very present and there’s no need to look close to see his spurs.

I may be wrong but I think I see a little spur there, that's why I'm calling a boy.
Urate has both a cream and a yellow parts. Could the color position mean anything?

Yep I see a spur too!! So the more whit there is, the more hydrated. It looks ok to me. You want half or more white. I bet he is just stressed. It can take two weeks for them to settle in to their new home.

Yes, I see the little spur too. Since your cute little guy hasn’t yet developed his colors, I’m guessing then that he is quite young, like maybe less than 3 months old. It’s super important that you have all of your husbandry as perfect as possible with little ones. Most accurate info is at https://chameleonacademy.com/chameleon-husbandry-program-getting-started-with-chameleons/ If you want, you could also have us review all of your husbandry by answering the questions here https://www.chameleonforums.com/threads/how-to-ask-for-help.66/ One thing I will suggest is a veterinary wellness visit to have a fecal parasite test. His poo looks a bit loose - it could be nothing, but erring on the side of caution is always good with our scaled friends.

He is young, not sure exactly how old.
I hope he likes it here and that we can take good care of him and see his adult colors
It is his first I'm guessing after all the crickets he ate today, next time will be better, I'll be on it.
