If someone sees MBD in that please give a detailed description!

On some pics people yell MBD!!! And I'm like staring at it for minutes to see it...
I want to be able to see it before it's a bad case and honestly I don't see MBD on this guy (when I look at the legs.)

I just think he's a bit thin but he could just be flattening himself.

I dont think so but you can fill out the how to ask for help sheet. Your lights and supplements can tell is if it may be starting or slight. I think he looks pretty good though

Understood. Thank you. He was definitely flattening himself, typically does when I take him outside... I was actually posting a different thread and saw a few pictures of other chameleons and started wondering if my boy could have it... I take really good care of him and don't think he does have it.
Chameleon Info:

  • Handling - How often do you handle your chameleon? At least once a day

Thank you I just did. To be honest I am more worried about his odd behavior. I posted a thread earlier. If you guys can check it out and offer advice on that I would be thrilled. I really don't know where else to reach out when I am having an issue or a concern. The exotic vets are pretty far from me, talking an hour each way. I feel like it would be more stressful to have him out of his cage for three hours to just have him checked. If I know there is an issue I most certainly would take him but just being curious or questioning something. I turn to the forum.

Hello. From what I see in this pic I really don't see any MBD Could we see a pic of his legs from behind. You should dust your insects right before you feed them. You need to use calcium without d3 at every feeding, and the stuff with d3 twice a month, and a multivitamin twice a month.

That is news to me. I thought it was only dusting them ever three days with the D3 stuff... Here is a behind pic.

Every day calcium without d3
2 times a month calcium with d3
2 times a month Multivitamin
If your multivitamin has d3 you do not need calcium with d3

Also if he is about a year old I would recomend upgrading him to a 24"×24"×48" cage. Flukers is not a great gutload, there are better options. I gutload with fruits, veggies and bug burger

Yes No Lights at night. It can disrupt their sleep. Also a drop in temperature at night is good
No lights at night? He sleeps fine, with the light. He is never awake during the night (I know this because he is in my daughters room, she has type one diabetes so i get up 3-5 times a week between 1 am-3am to check her blood sugar and I usually spray his cage if needed and check on him while I get up) He is always sleeping and always in the same position in the morning . With the moon blub and it helps with heat too, I think if I didn't use the light I would have a heating/humidity issue for sure, especially with the ac in the room.....

I use flukers mainly because it is food and water in one, I also use the Mazuri stuff. It has calcium, omega 3, and vitamin A. Is that stuff okay to use? My guy will occasionally eat a little strawberry too

He will sleep but not rest properly if it's to light and/or to warm...
You can test if he's properly resting by shining a small light on his eyes for like 10seconds.
If he wakes up he's probably not resting properly.

Don't do this every night but every once in a while on a hot night should not hurt him.
