Does my chameleon look healthy? He’s two years old

I just want to be sure because his colors seem dull and almost a bit brownish but maybe I’m overthinking. Let me know! Thank you ❤️

He looks ok to me. Some panthers will go thru ‘winter blahs’ where their color fades for a few months. One of mine also slowed down a little bit during it too. As I was debating on whether or not to make a vet appointment, his colors came back and he’s back to his usual self. Now my other panther boy has started the color fading. I know it’s said that panthers don’t brumate, but I wonder if under certain circumstances they do have something similar.

You male Furcifer pardalis looks to be a healthy male wild caught Ambanja Furcifer pardalis. Your male looks good hydrated and well fed for being a possible wild caught Furcifer pardalis. However your male could put on some weight and improve his colors with some time under a good UVA and UVB bulb. Great looking chameleon!

We actually got him from a breeder as a small 2 month old baby! He does have a uvb bulb does he need a uva?

my panther has a huge difference in summer and winter, winter he is so slow, doesnt explore, I always thought he was going through brumination! Interesting to hear they dont brumate!
Literally yesterday I was thinking how excited I am for summer because I will get to interact with chester again! haha

Your male Furcifer pardalis has a well developed roastral nose. That makes him look to be a wild caught Furcifer pardalis as a developed roastral nose and blades are normally a sign of wild caught chameleons.

Having both UVA and UVB sources helps with captive chameleons well beings. I would add a UVA source along with a UVB source.
