Dog food?

when one of my chams had mbd and couldnt eat properly or walk very well my vet gave me wet dogfood and she said to add calcium powder to it, and my cham ate that through a syringe for about a year, then he was able to actually shoot food again and recovered as much as possible, the vet was very surprised that he lived three years after he had severe mbd
so i dont see why if a cham can eat staight dogfood whey you cant gutload crickets with it, please correct me if im wrong though

My understanding is that you have to be quite carefull about the pre-formed Vitamin A that is in dog food, fat and animal proteins that can lead to gout, and there are preservatives and chemicals to think about as well. It is not formulated for insectivores, but for omnivorous canines. You'd be better off syringe feeding "bug juice" IMHO
