Drake the Jacksons Chameleon looking handsome!

I haven't posted pics of Drake in a while. He's been looking nice, and very healthy. He's weighing in about 140 grams, and has been up to 150 recently. He eats about everything I attempt to feed him! I like how he seems to be a bit more yellow than other Jackson's I've seen pics of here.

Stuart, he is a beautiful Jackson's! Quite robust I have to say!! What are you feeding that boy!!??? Do you know the hatchdate of Leo and Romeo? I know it is November and I thought it was in the first week? Where the heck have you been anyways!!?

He is huuuge! And rather gorgeous! How old is he? My Xanth is 11 months old and weighs 34g and by no means looks skinny!

Thanks Carol, he is eating dubia and silks for the most part, and crix or supers whenever I get those. He never seems to get full, but I don't over feed him. I wish Leo would eat as well as Drake does. Leo is very picky and seems to only eat the white dubia. I think their hatch date is around the last week in November, 2009. I think it was over a 2 or 3 week period then. I got him at about 8 weeks old or so on January 27, 2010. I've been around, just haven't been posting much here lately I guess. I might have to make a new thread for Leo soon though...

I'm less sure about Drake's age. We got him in May 2010, and he was around 5 months old, so he's about 2.5 years old or so now.

I just got my jacksons yesterday, I can't wait till he grows up and gets his big boy horns :D.

Hows his temperament, because I know my veiled loathes my existence. So I'm hoping this little guy will be nicer.

He's pretty mellow. He'll open his mouth now and then but has never actually come close to biting. His grip is really strong! Just holding him can be painful sometimes. Not at all like my panther who you barely feel.

I just got my Jackson's yesterday too! I named him Reggie Jackson :D

Thanks everyone for your comments!

For those interested, here's a growth chart for Drake. I normally try to weigh my chameleons once a week, or every other week. It's a good way to verify that they are in good health, and a drop in weight can be an early sign that something is not quite right. In fact, Drake's weight did decline, as you can see on the graph and I took him to the vet to find out that he had the beginnings of MBD. I caught it early and was able to successfully treat it and get him back to being healthy. The problem was I wasn't giving him enough calcium with D3, or at least the remedy was to give him a bit more. I'm glad to see him end up being so big and robust! Who knows, maybe he has some more growing to do yet.
