Dripper vs Misting

The dripper in my enclosure get's everywhere and I have her on paper towel , instead could I mist 3-4 times a day with warm water??

Is it possible to slow the drip? I use both a dripper and a mister. If you have live plants try and drip the water onto the leaves so they run down the plant. This will make it easy for your chameleon to drink. The mister will help keep the humidity up and entice your chameleon to drink.

It's the "little driper" the thing is I had a bowl under it with a leaf , but I had to empty that bowl every 30 mins to an hour and that was no-doubt stressful for the chameleon.

Get a mist king and just set it and forget it. Def made my life and more importantly my jacksons alot better.

It's kinda a pain in the butt but if you get the dripper just right you'll get a steady and slow drip. I won't even move mine now. lol (the nozzle)

or get an auto mister.

I use a terracotta plant saucer.I bought a length of 1/4" tubing and a barbed coupling.Set the saucer on wood and drilled a 3/16" hole slowly in the edge shoved the barbed coupling in and then the tubing to the barbed coupling then to a bucket.I have the dripper going into a plant the plant gets saturated then leaks into the saucer and into the bucket. The small dripper holds a 1/2 gallon on water and takes a day to run out.I also drilled a hole in a small clear container stuck a chop stick through it and stuck in a plant at a angle, the water drips into it splashes and the cham can see it.

Better pictures.I started with a 16x16x30 reptibreeze when Bud was small the added a second cage I redrilled the screws on the second cage so the heads wouldn't hit so the cage was tight(no loose crickets)Removed the screens which can be replaced and voila a 16xx32x30 cage.I built the shelf brackets from 1/4x2 oak from HD.He seems very content in the setup.Higher the better!

Yea I made my cage out if the oak from depot, turned out good I think, yours is nice too! My jackson started in the same size screen cage.

I dont have much experience since ive only had my cham for a few days. However when i first got him i only had a mister set up. I ran it 4 times a day and he didnt seem to understand to drink from the leaves. I got concerned and got a dripper and he immediately ran over to it and drank like he had just crossed a desert. Might just be because mine is young, but id be careful about not having a dripper around
