Dubia!!

I already have a Dubia colony of over 3000. About 150 being adult females and 100 being adult males. I've spend quite a pretty penny so far on these guys.

This weekend at the reptile show, I can get 300 Adult females and 100 Adult males for $220! Can I really pass on that deal?? I'm working my way at being able to feed Dubia as my staple for 18 panthers. I'm thinking I can't go wrong with this deal.

Live roaches? At the Mississauga show? You should be careful about who you speak to about that.

even crickets aren't allowed? Are the rules any different at the other locations? cause I remember buying a 1k box of crickets last year in montreal at cdn silkworms' booth..

please excuse my ignorance but, PCPC= ? I'm guessing it's something simple and obvious but all I can come up with is president's choice president's choice and I'm assuming that ain't it...lol

That's a great deal. Last week, I found a guy on fauna classifieds selling off 15,000 dubia. I bought ~1000 for $45 shipped. There were approx 100 adults, and most of the others were very close to breeding age.
I was happy. So, I'll feed off a male here and there to my melleri, and let the rest have fun.

I figure that if I can make crickets the "treat", and have their staple be a non-stinking, non-hopping roach, I'll be better off.

Wow! And I thought the deal I was getting was good! ahhaha!

I hear a lot about Dubia, what are the benefits of feeding chameleons roaches as opposed to crickets???

Sorry I don't mean to hijack the thread.

And $200 bucks for roaches!!! They must be good...
