How do you guys dust your crix? Im having a hell of a time seperating crickets from leftover dust in the jar im curently using... or is it just a PITA and something we live with?

Hi SS4Luck,

right now you are using alot of realy small crickets and that makes it harder.
yet the best way is not to dump too much dust into your dusting cup.

I just take a tweezer and pick up a tiny amount with one of the tips and dump it into the dusting cup.
my crickets sometimes don't look like they have enough dust on them after they were shaken...AND THAT IS WHAT YOU ARE AIMING FOR.
done this way, your crickets will be lightly dusted and not look like ghosts.

If I ever have any left over I just don't mist until I take the empty cup out of the cage and just leave the dust in there for the next feeding. It's not like it goes bad.

mine dont really look like ghosts, the might have a slight grey tint to them, but they arent covered in powder. I just figured there was an easierway to seperate them? I use about 1/4 of a time of powder every dusting and didnt think it was good to dump that into the bottom of the feeder cup
