this has prob been asked time and time again but i just wanted to know...
is it ok if i use calypso cricket dust for dusting crickets and also what other suppliment will i need? because calypso doenst contain d3... ive already got some leopard gecko dust by T-REX but i dont know if thats sufficient for a veiled cham?

im just interested whats everybodys recomended schedule for dusting e.g. what do they give each day of the week etc.

under 5 months.. mon,weds,fri, calcium without d3. tues,thurs, calcium with d3,
saterday multi vitamin with beta carotene.. sunday no dusting...

if the cham is over 5 months... calcium without d3 2 times a week..
calcium with d3 once a week
and multi vitamin every other week..

over supplements are worst for a chameleon then under supplements..

even on that schedule I only dust half the crickets per day.. with a light dusting..
dont make them look like ghosts..

My breeder recommended a multivitamin to be dusted mon/thurs, calcium with d3 to be dusted tuesday/friday, and calcium without d3 to be dusted wed/sat, and nothing on sunday. This is for chameleons that are 5 to 6 months old, and also pregnant females. Adult chameleons need less dusting and less food. As for your links, the calypso powder is good, but you do need a source of d3. I can't find the ingredients list for the T-rex chameleon powder...

livefoods.co.uk has minerall! that solves your problem. get the t-rex powder as your multivitamin, *edit* calypso as your calcium with no d3, get one minerall I (indoor forumula)... the 0 has no d3 and the I has d3, and as for your vitamin a... you can always give your crickets a few flakes of fish food once a week. spirulina fish food and cichlid fish food has lots of vitamin a, so you have to use it sparingly.
