Earthworms?

Just stick to crickets, super worms, silk worms, dubia, horn worms.... might I go on? ;)

I tried earthworms "once". Triton snatched it up..had a look of surprise on his face (as surprised as a cham can look anyway) ate it..then looked at me in complete and total disgust! So long story short..stick with all the above that Syn said..LOL! :p

Earthworms are very good as long as your chameleon likes them. A few species of herp eat mostly worms in nature and many others relish them.

Calyptratus sometimes does.

I'm not sure about bait shop worms though- you don't want to feed worms that have been fed stuff like manure...

Thanks for the heads up.

My guy used to love butter worms, wax worms and super worms (that's what they carry at the pet store), but now he's almost completely off them... silk worms too, actually, he won't touch those anymore... so he's just eating crickets right now (and even then with less gusto). Looks really healthy though so I'm not worried too much, I was just hoping there was something else I might try that would be readily available and cheap.

PArasites sound like bad news thouhg.
