eating behavior

Whomi will sometimes get a cricket and leave it in his mouth for a second, sometimes ten or fifteen seconds, then goes about biting and swallowing...i dont know if he is waiting for them to stop squirming, or they are too big, or if he is eating to much...maybe its just normal...he is a six month old panther, eating large crickets, about eight to ten a day

I saw a parsons take nearly 5 min to chew up and swallow a roach

Yep, normal, my adult panther does it, my adult male veiled doesn't, he grubs.

My baby will sometimes do that, bag a cricket look around maybe move to a different location then proceed to munch.

Oh ya my chameleons both do it especially after hand feeding but they usually eat faster when there other things to eat right away

Ha, ya whomi will just inhale them if i put six or seven in at once...they will be gone in sseconds! He looks like your little guy boj...
