Egg Bound

My non-mated female veiled chameleon has dropped eggs before (about 2 dozen), but this time she has only dropped about 3 eggs, and is digging in her sand cave furiously. We are concerned that she may be egg bound. Is there anything we can do to help. Unfortunately our vet won't be available until Monday morning.

The best thing you can do for your little girl is to give her complete privacy and hopefully she will finish laying those eggs. Just the sight of you could cause her to abandon her hole and become egg bound.
