This isn't a picture of my chameleons feces but mine does have these in it. I am under the impression that they are cricket eggs but was curious if anyone has seen this before and whether or not it is a problem. Thanks!
Does your cham's poop have as many of those things in as that photo? Do you have a pic of your cham's poop at all? I haven't experienced parasites in my chams, but I have with my crested geckos. Worm eggs are not seen by the naked eye, although I did see worms in the poop that the geckos produced. If in any doubt get the poop sample tested by your vet. That way you will know what you are dealing with and how it can be treated.
I do not have any photos of recent feces, as his last several have not had any visible eggs in them. And Lily, no they did not have that many eggs in them.
Ballpark figure for what I am going to be spending to get a float done? Not that I wouldn't do it if it was expensive, but I am a very poor college student.
Also it is amazing that you can live in the capitol of California and not have a single herp vet in the city...maybe its time for vet school.
