I am getting my first panther in a couple of weeks, I am no stranger to reptiles I feed my cresties and beardies locusts can I feed my panther the same or should give him crickets instead

You can feed chameleons with Locust. Actually if you can feed him/her with more than one type of insect it will be better. Crickets, Locusts, Silkworms, Roachs, Horworms, Superworms (rearly) and Mealworms (rearly) for examle.

thank you how many / much do you suggest? I used to put a bag or tub full at a time with my beardies, they used to help themselves, I had 3 at the time

Baby panthers can and will eat a lot of food! Pretty much let them eat what they want. 15-20 small crickets is a good amount or a variety of other appropriately sized feeders that will add up to that amount. How old will depend on the amount of food.
