So I just woke up and my chameleon does have his tongue in his mouth and won't put it back in idk what to do the tip of it still moves and everything but he won't put it in his mouth I'm not sure what to do and I am leaving out of town in a few hours
Please I need help

He got his tongue back in his mouth but I think he swallowed it now..

Your chameleon needs a good exotic vet asap. I'll attach our vet spreadsheet for you.

Omg that is so serious. It must be injured. You are going to have to cancel that trip. So sorry. It must be very scary, but you can handle this. Please keep us informed. We don’t hear of this often and the few times I have heard a member reach out it was babies losing part of the tongue. Sending prayers your way!

Since your chameleon has already swallowed the tongue, the only option is to get to a vet asap to have it dealt with.
