Enclosure in the wall.

Here are some pictures of my enclosure . The enclosure is 220cm (86,6”) wide- 110cm (43,3”) high and 80 cm (31,5”) deep.

It’s my own jungle with a complete automatisation system.
A fogger for humidity
A rain system for big water drops
A sprinkler system for the plants
And a system that irrigate the back

All the lights fade in and out for a natural start of the day.

until last week there was a male jacksonii xantholpuhus in it. Next weekend i'm gonna buy a Parsonii and it will be his enclosure.

I think it looks amazing!!! My only constructive criticism would be to put some trim around the dry wall. With all that hard work you put into creating this In-the-Wall habitat, you should put the finishing touches around its edges. Other than that, Its the best home habitat I've ever seen.

That's truly a work of art, very nice.
Don't know abouth it being big enough for C. parsonii though, it's a big enclosure but it's also a large animal.

How did you aranged the ventilation?

As you can see the front of the enclosure is not completely closed.
I use this window in the summer. In the winter the front is closed with 3 big windows.

Ventilation:
Inside the wall there are some ventilation tubes that blow the hot air from the lamps inside the enclosure. on the top there are some small vents.

That is very cool. When it's partially open, the chameleon doesn't try to come out? Do you have pictures of it during the build? I think that's a really neat enclosure. I would love to build one when I finish my basement.

These type of setups are more common with the poison dart frog community and a lot of them will stock them with 2 or 3 bugs for the soil (1 or more species of isopods, springtails, etc) thus creating an environment that is self cleaning. Not sure if that is what he has done here.

These type of enclosures really clean themselves for the most part with the automatic watering and the live plants.

I have an in-wall viv about this size but yours puts mine to shame. Amazing exhibit. Thanks for sharing.
