Enclosure Size

Have you guys ever heard of a chameleon's growth being stunted because of enclosure size? I know growth can be stunted from lack of proper nutrition and I know keeping them in a tank too small for them can stress them out, but has anyone ever heard of it stunting their growth?

I've heard of it indirectly with other lizards, and could see it entirely possible for a chameleon. Indirectly because it has more to do with inability to move about and thermoregulate properly, which will effect appetite. As the lizard grows, it's mass is greater and size is greater, so usable area to move in and out of heat becomes too small. It is a cruel thing to do to a lizard...

well I guess their musculature won´t devolp as well because of the space

I think a bigger problem to be worried about rather than stunted growth would be the stress of not having the space to move around, places to hide and different areas of light and shade to assist with thermoregulation.
