Until what age should a youth veiled chameleon stay in a glass terrarium with a screen top, thats 24inH*18inW*18inD, until it needs a larger screened cage? And at what age is a youth veiled able to live in a 4ftH*2ftW*2ftD screened cage, without fear that he might fall from a high spot and get injured, or die?

I dont own one yet, however I have both a small glass terrarium with a screen top, and a very large aluminum-screened cage. But before I get a veiled, I was wondering what age is recommended for each cage....sizes of both cages are given on my first post.

100gallon size: 16.5"x 30"x 48" tall for a min. of adult size for veileds. (this is all screen)

Mine is around 6months and is in that size of a cage. You can go bigger but thats a min. size for full grown no smaller.

at 3-4months I had him in a 2ft tall, 15" wide and long. I switched him after he was just starting 5 months.
(glass isn't that great btw.)
