Evacuation!!!

Hey guys I have 3 panther chams 2 in xl reptibreeze and two bearded dragons these cages can’t fit in my car!!! What should I do if I I’m required to evacuate this is due to the fire btw I’m in Santa Cruz

Do you have a place to go where you could set up the cages? Reptibreeze cages break down and you could transport them that way if you need them at your destination. For a short drive like vet visits and such chams can be transported in a small carrier or box, or pop up laundry hampers are a great idea per @MissSkittles

Best of luck and I hope everything is okay

Not my idea...was suggested to me last year when a hurricane was headed towards me.

Yikes. Sort of off topic, but maybe not so much: I've wondered what people do if the power goes out for an extended period of time due to storm impacts.
If an extended period is a few days, they should be fine as long as the temps remain within their tolerable ranges. If an extended period is a few weeks or more, I'd consider a generator or backup power supply.

A lot depends on where you are, the local climate, time of year, etc.

Florida heat/humidity with no central ac = pray for death to take us quickly. ?
Seriously, I’d probably take my chams outside for some natural uvb.

During the summer isn't TOO much of an issue where I'm from, and natural light is feasible, but it's the winter I worry about. I know my local exotic vet does lodging for reptiles too and in an emergency I could always drop them off there... provided they have power and I can drive out to them...

A long term solution of a backup power supply definitely isn't a bad idea in my case.
