Eye drops

I was just wondering if there's any sort of eye drops I can get for my Cham. She hasn't opened her left eye properly whilst she's been shedding, there doesn't seem to be any infection, an iv had her in the shower twice a day or 15 mins, she's opens it every now and again. Just wondering I there's anything I can do before I take her to the vet or is she just closing it because she was shedding?

I use an old Afrin nasal spray bottle (cleaned out, of course!) and make a lukewarm saline solution; 500ml distilled water to about 1/8 teaspoon salt and a small pinch of sodium bicarbonate (baking soda) and irragate his eye gently.

You will need to hold him firmly in your hand (that's the hard part).

I have also used Bausch and Lomb eye wash diluted with water as one part eye wash to 2 parts water.
