Your Chameleon - panther chameleon, male, 6 months. been in my care for 3 months
* Handling - How often do you handle your chameleon, 3 times a week?
* Feeding - What are you feeding your chameleon, mini crickets? What amount, i put atleast 5 in there a week and he eats as he please? What is the schedule, as he please? How are you gut-loading your feeders, dust?
* Supplements - What brand and type of calcium and vitamin products are you dusting your feeders with and what is the schedule "exotrra"- multi vitamin. no set schedule?
* Watering - What kind of watering technique do you use, spray bottle.. How often and how long to you mist, 3 times a day for atleast 1 min.. Do you see your chameleon drinking, only when i spray directly at him.
* Fecal Description - Briefly note colors and consistency from recent droppings. Has this chameleon ever been tested for parasites- he is usually brownish, but does have some colors, (reds, blues,white, bright greens) no he has not.
* History - Any previous information about your cham that might be useful to others when trying to help you. no.
Cage Info:
* Cage Type - Describe your cage (Glass all the way around, screen on top) What are the dimensions, 18in tall, 11in wide
* Lighting - What brand, "zoomed" & "exoterra" model, "reptisun 5.0 uvb mini compact fluorescent 13w 60hc" & "sunglow 60hz and 50w" and types of lighting are you using, uvb and basking- What is your daily lighting schedule keep them on for usually 12 hours a day.
* Temperature - What temp range have you created (cage floor to basking spot)? Lowest overnight temp? How do you measure these temps? no temp gage
* Humidity - What are your humidity levels? How are you creating and maintaining these levels? What do you use to measure humidity? no humidity gage
* Plants - Are you using live plants? If so, what kind? no live plants.
* Placement - Where is your cage located, dresser about 3 and half foot from the ground. Is it near any fans, no not besides the cealing fan that is usually only on at night. air vents, no or high traffic areas, no At what height is the top of the cage relative to your room floor? 3 and half foot
* Location - Where are you geographically located? GA
I am new to this and dont know as much as y'all.. but i have came here seeking advice as i am trying to take the proper care of him. so please dont bash me...
my chameleon has an eye infection i believe, his eye has yellowish white film. i can see his normal eye as if the flim is kinda dropping.. and i want to just grab and pull it out but dont want to hurt him. he doesnt move much anymore like he used too, as if he just sleeps all day. he hasnt eaten much either. please help
