The title pretty much says it all, but this is a newly hatched Furcifer lat lat. It's the first of my F3's to hatch so far.

Congratulations on the baby, he/she is absolutely adorable. My all time fav. cham. How many more are you expecting?

Quite a few still. There are numerous clutches, but I think there are 9 or 10 more in this particular clutch. The carpet in my avatar is actually this ones grandmother.

Kevin,

If anyone was set to accomplish the successful reproduction of F. lateralis to (true) F3, it was you. Congratulations on the result, and I look forward to seeing these reach maturity.

Cheers,

Excellent job on the breeding. F3 is a real accomplishment to be proud of. We have hopes of Josh or Luis getting there with quads, or me if we wait 5 years.:D

Thanks everyone! I'm happy too. Incubation is 69F until they hatch. That takes 8-15 months-ha. I wish I were joking but it's that unpredictable. 15 is an extreme though, and it's usually in the 10-12 month range.

Fantastic work! It certainly isn't every day you get to see something as rare as 3rd generation captives. Best of luck with the 4th!!
