Falling or hanging upside down from branches

Our 4 yr old female veiled keeps hanging upside down and falling to the bottom
Of her cage ..... Do chams in general like to hang upside down?

yes.
is she only falling when you are within eyesight?
if so, its probably what i call the suicide drop.
she wants to get away from you as fast as possible, so she lets go.

I know exactly what you mean.....but no. At first we would be I'n the other room and hear her fall (now we have a pillow covered by a towel at the bottom of the cage to break her fall). Sometimes we come into the room and she's hanging by one leg and her tail from a branch...... This has been happening for a couple weeks now

Hanging upside down is normal as well as falling from time to time.

Now, if she seems weak or unable to keep balanced we may have other issues.

Please post pics of the chameleon.

If shes falling becuase she cant hold on, that could be an issue.
fill out the help form and post pics, and we can see what else could be goin gon.
