Favorite feeders?

I can't post polls, but would like to see one on favorite feeders - the chams' favorite feeders, to the extent possible (i.e., I like crickets a lot more than superworms, but Thaxter feels otherwise). In lieu of a poll, I'll state that Thaxter seems to like superworms best, then hornworms and crickets (about equal), then waxies, then other insects.

Well, this all depends on the individual cham and their species.

My Jackson's male loves snails and waxworms the most.

My panthers seem to really like silkworms, stick bugs and roaches best.

Everyone likes hornworms and flies.

o gosh.. hands down all goes nut when hornworms in vicinity.
2nd is sticks.
all my chams hate super worms.
bought a bunch of them 4 times, all died rejected by the chameleons.
So i give up wasting my money on them.

Well, I like Crickets. They are easy to take care of. Although, Silkworms, and Roaches are better staples. I wouldn't feed wax worms as a staple, they are usually a treat for them, because their nutrient level isn't that good for a growing Chameleon. Hope this helps.

ahahahaha! the thread is for your chameleon's favorite feeder. not yours :p

Hehehehe. :D. Well, My Chameleon only had Superworms and Crickets. He never denied food!

my panther LOVES supers and crix, he hates hornworms and he has only eaten one stick but he seemed to like it, still waiting on my colony to grow (thanks nikki)

my veiled is a cricket and roach guy, no worms for him, he'll eat anything with six legs that moves

phasmids, silkworms, isopods, and hornworms would be their number one choice
followed by roaches, moths and wax worms
followed by supers, crickets and mealworms

hmmm mabee i should try roaches.i have been trying to get mista my veiled to try other feeders but he refuses anything other than locusts!
