Feeder accessory for a disabled Jackson

Howdy, gang. I need some advice on a good feeder I can hang in my Jackson Chameleon's cage now that his tongue has been amputated. (Injury based. Worked with my local exotic vet to try and turn it around.) Just trying to get him to eat and drink on his own now. I am currently using Carnivore Care with a feeder syringe.

I do plan on hand (or tong) feeding as much as I can and I do have a box that could be a feeding box. However, I am eventually going to have to return to the office and I'll need something to contain feeders until he sorts this new tongueless skill out. He tries to grab with his mouth but his horn gets in the way. It's been making it hard to pick a design or even find a DIY design.

Anyone have a horned buddy with a tongue disability? What do you use as a feeder cup in your enclosure? I am really struggling to get calories into him.

Picture of my Phineas, the Tongueless Warrior, for tax.

Beautiful little guy. 💗 Sorry about his tongue. The only feeder that I can think that may work is a style that Full Throttle used to have for bearded dragons, but I don’t see that they still have it. It is similar to this one https://neptonion.net/products/nept...-lizard-bearded-dragon-iguana-gecko-toad-frog but is solid behind the screen. This Neptonion one I’d be afraid of a horn getting trapped in the screen and then snapping off. I’d suggest contacting Full throttle https://www.fullthrottlefeeders.com/contact and asking if he still has any of the bearded dragon style remaining. It had the round cup-like bottom, and then a thin round pipe at the center which was covered in the plastic mesh. I think with this style, your guy would be able to just turn his head a bit and he can grab his bugs.
