my chams in a 65 gallon reptarium and i want to make sure he's eating how do feeder cups work? how do the crickets stay in? and how can i make one?

thanks

The best feeder cup I've found for crickets and superworms is a quart milk jug. Cut out one side starting about 3-4 inches from the bottom, up to where it starts to curve back in to the top. glue some screen to the back side that goes all the way to the bottom. Poke drainage holes in the bottom. You can drill holes through the top part to put a string or twisty tie to attatch it to a branch or the side of the cage. Then you just dump the crickets in the bottom and they'll climb up the screen and attract the chameleon's attention.

Try to do a search on the site for feeder cups. Some member on here has a complete how to in his or her photo gallery, but I can't remember who it is.

Good luck!

Well, ask and you shall receive. When I went back to the home page, a feeder cup photo appeared on the gallery sample! It's not the one I was thinking of, but the only difference is the lack of screen on the back.

check out mightyzug's gallery.
