feeders

I know silkworms are amazing, but I also use crickets-correctly supplemented-and my dubia colony is growing! I would like to try hornworms once my cham gets a little older.

Protein/Calcium=Silks
Hydration/Low Fat=Horn Worms
Dubias=Crunchy/protein
Wild-Caught insects.............Priceless:D

Depends on the needs of the animal. One that is developing eggs or recovering from an illness or young and growing or a normal healthy middle-aged male each may have different needs.

But if I had to restrict to three feeders (which I luckily do not have to do), I'd probably go

silkworm
locust or grasshopper
phasmid

or

silkworm
roach
phasmid

or
sillkworm
roach
locust or grasshopper

All of the above are gutloadable in slightly different ways, are well enjoyed by chameleons, and offer variety in terms of shape, colour and "crunchiness"

my chameleons would rather I picked these top three favourites:
terrestrial isopod
phasmid
moths

but roaches, silkworms, cabbage loopers and butterworms wouldnt be far down the list either
