i would like to know how often you guys feed your chams and how much. i've been feeding my fischers cham a cricket once a day and know meal worms once a day. i hand feed him one and then once he is done swallowing it i try to show him another but he goes up the branch and more. today he ate two worms. what would be the norm for a 3 month old fischer's?

uhmmm..... i feed 6 crix a day, plus a beetle and sometimes a waxworm. 1 cricket a day is barely anything.

Depends on the age of the chameleons. Young ones you can feed lots to. Adults less. Females depends on whether you are trying to keep eggs to minimum or are feeding up after egg production.

That said, what I do is feed twice a day a couple insects per meal. Except Tuesdays, when I either dont feed at all or only give each one a single insect in the morning. Many people feed the equivalent of ten crickets every other day. I try to offer a wide variety of feeders, not just crickets and mealworms. In fact, I dont offer mealworms very often at all (hard to digest). For example, breakfast this morning was 3 crickets each for the adults, 5 for the young ones, and then dinner was a single butterworm each. Tomorrow is roaches for breakfast, and probably a single kingworm (aks superworm) each for dinner. Other options are stick insects, silkworms, isopods, etc
