feeding plants

I am having trouble feeding my veiled chameleon plants. he is to fiesty to feed by hand. and i try to put little pieces of strawberries in his feeding cup but he still wnt touch it. Ive tried to put sme wrms in there with the strawberries so maybe he wld get a piece and like it, and start eating more. but still no luck... any advice? Oh also it seems like there are some tiny flies that are starting to appear in his cage. i think they came from the organic soil that i put in shld i wrry ?

Chams RARELY will eat fruit. If it is a anything other than a veiled they will probably not even eat any kind of vegetation. All chams are pretty strictly insectivores.
