Feeding receptive/gravid female

I have recently transitioned to feeding my ~7 month old female every other day. She is always a good eater! About a week ago she got her blue/yellow coloring. 3 days ago she abruptly stopped eating which I read was normal before laying eggs. I finally got her to eat 2 crickets today. My question is should I be offering food every day now? Or stick to the every other day schedule? I want her to have plenty of nutrients & energy when she needs it. Maybe I should just try treats that I know she will eat. I ran out of hornworms & superworms last week. She usually LOVES her Dubia & crickets though. Like I said, I was expecting her to stop eating soon, but just didn’t know if I should at least offer food every day instead of every other.

Is it me or do her eyes look a little puffy? I don't want to worry you and I know that's not what your asking but just thought I would ask @Brodybreaux25?

I don't have a female veiled but my male slowed down but can still eat well. My panthers have slowed down to a crawl but may be weather. I read that veiled tend to be more oportunists.

Oh, I hadn’t noticed! I added some pics from this morning and willl fill out the form as soon as I get settled in at work. The pictures were just after misting so had to try to catch her in between eye cleaning.

• Your Chameleon- Veiled Female ~7 months old, in my care for 2 months
• Handling - Lately, she has been coming up to me when I am misting or cleaning her cage and crawling on to me. I take this opportunity to let her come out for a few minutes each time she initiates (a few dimes a week)
• Feeding - crickets, superworms, small Dubai and hornworms. Feeding 10-12 feeders every other day. The feeders have been given oranges and cricket crack.
• Supplements - Reptical W/O D3 daily with D3 2 x monthly. Herpivite 2 x monthly.
• Watering -Large homemade dripper- 24 hrs a day. Hand spray 2 times a day for aprox 5 minutes.
• Fecal Description - brown feces with white urates. She has not ever been tested for parasites?
• History - The pet store said they had her in the back because not enough space up front. I found that strange. She was much larger than the rest of the cams there.

Cage Info:

• Cage Type - Converted cabinet: 44x15x48”. Screen top, sides, & front.
• Lighting - T5 with 12% Arcadia. Lighting is on a timer that turns on from 6 am -6 pm.
• Temperature -Floor ~70 degrees Basking~82 degrees. Lowest overnight temp- 64 degrees. I measure the temps with the Zoomed digital thermometer, temperature gun, and AccuRite digital thermometer & humidity gauge.
• Humidity - ~40-60% (80 after misting) Misting 2 times daily for aprox 5 minutes each.
• Plants - pothos, split leaf philodendron, croton, bromeliads, parlor palm
• Placement - The cage is not near an air vent. It is in my spare bedroom. The top of the cage is 6’.
• Location - South Carolina
• Current problem- Receptive or Gravid (not sure which), not eating, someone suggested her eyes may be swollen. I thought she stopped eating because of being gravid, but now I am wondering if it is something else. Also her poop has been 1/2 the size is usually is. It’s still healthy looking with white urates so I’m assuming that’s because of the lack of food.
• I am including pictures of the enclosure, but these were taken before I replaced the glass with screen. It is now screen front, sides, and top.

Thanks, so not eating is either a hunger strike or heath issue?

Im personally not sure. It could be one or the other (or both) If this keeps up you should probably take her to a vet.

My female stops eating totally for about 5 days immedietely before laying. Womt
Even touch hornworms or supers. She then eats everything in sight when she’s done (which is her normal, she’d eat herself to death if I let her!) I only feed her daily for the first couple days after her clutch
