Feeding Tub's ???

Hay all.

I now have my baby Yemen. The viv setup I have is fairly large and I have two plastic see through disposable cups, I will post a pic in a second need to upload images.

My options seem to be, leave it as it is, and let him learn to shoot from above and into the cup, OR take the cup out and put in one thats not transparent, and let him learn his food will always be there.

Need some advice guys. thanks in advance.

I was told you should not use a see thru cup because your cham might shoot at the outside of the cup and hurt his tounge . my panther learned to eat out of a cup in 1 day. also that cup might be a little deep .

Depth is def not an issue for Merlin, he could if he wanted to shoot down a cup twice this size. I'm more worried about him stricking the outside of the cup like you said. but if he learns quick enough that he needs to shoot from above then it will be fine.

More advice please .. the more the better.

I couldnt tell his size from the photos all you said is he was a baby

a cup with greater circum is ideal. and more shallow. clear sides are bad. go to the local store and pick up a tupperware for 2$.
