Feet not wrapped around branch

After laying, Ophelia has been much calmer. Generally choosing to hang out in the middle temp ranges. She hunts her crickets, moving around top to middle. When she is resting, I've noticed her paws/claws/oven mitts don't close around the branch fully.

That's fine. They don't always Vulcan death grip the branches while resting.

In my opinion as long as she can grip your finger or her vines very tightly when she walks I wouldn't worry too much about it. But just keep an eye on it. When Moe began to let one of his legs hang I think that's when his gout started to develop.

My one guy rests like this. I agree with the others, as long as when she walks it's a strong grip.

Ophelia has been shedding the last couple days. Her feet seem to be the worst this time around. Maybe she was gettimy ready to shed... and that caused her to keep her feet open when resting? Curious what you'all think?

Not sure why the shed would cause that. I'd say continue to keep an eye on it, and as always Ophelia is looking good! She's so photogenic.

I think you're onto smething....it could be because of the shed that her feet aren't gripping the branch.

I was thinking that the shed might be adding some thickness to her feet and making it uncomfortable to close. The shed coming off is really thick. I'll post again when she's done shedding... hopefully her feet are back to closing normally.
