Female breeding size

So I think my female chameleom is undersized for her age, and I was really hoping to be able to breed her with my male (veileds). They're both around a year old and she's been showing her "mature colors for a while but I feel like if she was to produce eggs she would get eggboud. Or is it normal for females to be this small? I can't weigh her because she won't ever let me get close to her. The picture makes her look kinda big but I think you can get an idea with her next to that leaf.

She will lay those eggs weather she is bred or not. I say go for it she is plenty old enough, and she is showing her receptive colors.

My female was also on the small side and became egg bound. Be patient and wait for her first infertile clutch. See how she handles it and become familiar with the process before you fertilize the eggs.

Breeding early will start ger cycle, possibly before her body is ready for eggs. Just my .02
