Female Chameleon Care?

hey im very interested in a female chameleon that my friend can no longer take care of, shes only 3 months old. but i want to know how to taking care of a female cham would be different then a male. like how to properly make a laying bin, where to put it, when to put it in the cage. or the opposite by changing the temperatures?
anything would help
