Female is always non receptive

Hey everyone,

Just wondering if anyone has ever had a female veiled that refused to breed at all. All my past females would usually readily breed (maybe a bit of gaping) when they showed their receptive colours, but I have one that will gape and bite at my male but retains her receptive colours and doesn't turn dark. I'll fill you in point by point:

Before anyone asks their care and environment are absolutely perfect, and all my chams are in top condition.

- female veiled 1 year 8 months old
-laid an infertile batch of 34 eggs about six months ago. (Tried to get her to breed then but she showed the same behaviour)
- been showing her to my male again for the past few months just to see if she would show non receptive colours, but she kept showing receptive.
-tried on and off for the last month to see if she would accept my males but she still shows receptive colours while being extremely violent toward the male. (I'm concerned she may injure his eye or otherwise if she gets ahold of him.)

Any advice? should I just let the breeding progress and keep a close eye on them to avoid injury? I've bred many females in the past and never really had this problem so wondering if she's just exceptionally stubborn. Also she acts this way to all my males not just a specific one. Thanks everyone

Have you tried showing her a different male? Maybe there is something about the male you are showing her that she don't like.

Some female just dont like sex with the wrong male,I will agree with the above poster, give her another male, the alphakenc kind!!
