I'll try to get a better picture later ... she's sort of blending into that afghan in the background:rolleyes:

I believe he titled it "Female Montium", so that would be a female montium.

Very nice, Brad!! Yay! How old is she? When can we expect some babies? :D

Trying to remember when Chris hatched that clutch .... Maybe last August or September?
She has already laid an infertile clutch of 5 eggs while in Luis' care.
I will introduce her to the male sometime soon and see what happens .... want to find out from Luis when that clutch was laid first.

She's looking real good, Brad. I'm looking forward to hearing about some breeding!

Chris

My male is from Mike. He is a long term captive ... I have had him since August 2009.
I am looking forward to that as well ... also glad to know hatch date, I was a bit off.
Is she F1?
Thanks Chris!

She is CH from a gravid import. I still have her mom but I can't seem to convince the male to breed. II've been wondering if male-male competition may help encourage breeding.

Brad,

I'm so glad to see her go to you. She's been the lonely little girl in our chameleon room since we acquired her from Chris and I didn't want her to go to just anyone. Good to hear she made the trip ok! :)

Also, she laid two eggs in mid February (the 18th comes to mind) and the last three a week or two later. I don't have my notes handy so I don't have exact dates, but at least you get the idea. I told you she was small! She actually had a growth spurt since she laid those eggs so maybe she's just a slow starter. ;)

Chris, I know it's apples and oranges but our Uroplatus males need other males around to coax them to breed. Perhaps it's not a bad idea to give it a whirl if you can find a another male around. :)

....and the rest of us are chopped liver?? ;)

Apples and oranges here too, but..... apparently, all my male u. fimbriatus needed was more females!! I have introduced 2 new females to him in the last month (one of which is all white:eek:) and when I check on him in the middle of the night, he looks like he's enjoying his new little harem. ;) [sorry to hijack, Brad....]

Grats on your new little girl Brad. Like others hve said she is in great hands. Look foward to more pics :).

Brad...that girl is stunning! It's like she has jewels on her sides. You need to get a digital camera instead of that webcam (at least I'm assuming that's what it is). All of your chameleons are so nice looking, it seems a shame not to be able to see them better!

I KNOW!
Both digital cameras are not working, I have a client who is a photographer ... I think I'm going to have her take some pictures for us.

Good idea. I envy your collection...so I pretty much want to just stare at the pics and drool. Ha. If I had more cage space, I'd probably have 3 times the chameleons I have now...
