My personal requirements: 1) at least 14 months old and no more than 3-4 clutches. 2) plenty of water. 3) Ca. 4) feeder variety at maximum. 5) outdoor sunlight as much as possible. 6) cage cleaned prior to mating. 7) making sure she is okay with it (humor 
). 8) UVB bulb is good. 8) laying bin is cleaned and ready for new cycle. 9) egg tupperware(s) are made. 10) she is 100% healthy and capable. 11) extra eggs will not be a burden or unnecessary on my part.
