Female veiled laid 27 eggs

My beautiful veiled Cham laid her eggs last night on the full moon. She ended up laying 27, this is her first batch. All looks well so far, looking forward to her getting her food intake back up.

Yay! I'm happy for you! Is it an infertile clutch or has she mated? 27 is a good number as veields can lay A LOT of eggs in one clutch. The less the better as it takes less out of her.

I suspect my female veiled is gravid with her first clutch, getting impatient waiting for her to lay lol!

Cograts on the eggs. It's very important that your female eats after laying. Give her some liquid calcium if you have it and dust her feeders well with calcium with out D3 for the next few days.

Yes she has mated but I'll have to wait and see if they are fertile. It's her first clutch so crossing my fingers. Good luck with yours and keep me posted.

Thank you, and yes she is eating heavy dusted crickets. She seemed to rebound nicely.
