so my female veiled chameleon has been throwing some beautiful colors than her normal green. I assumed she was gravid. I put her in my male cage and the successfully bred several times over the next couple hours. I've tried once before and she rejected him. This time she was all for it. My question is she has always shown really good bright colors but the two days since the breeding she has been and dull brown ash grey color and hasn't eaten like she normally does. Is this normal after breeding? She has been back in her own cage during this time.

yes a 4 gallon frosting bucket from work, I just have regular garden soil in it now but I will get the sand mix soon.

The photo from before breeding looks like she was already gravid to me. I would not breed them anymore.

thanks, was more concerned about her eating habits last two days. She is normally she is an aggressive eater who comes as soon as I open cage.

Normally they do not stop eating after breeding. She might be sick with an illness that has nothing to do with breeding.
