if i by plant from a store can i just use them like they are?? or do i have to replant them?

Fertilizer can kill your chameleon.

If you cover the soil so the chameleon cant get at the soil, and any free-roaming bugs dont get at the soil and then get eaten by the cham, you dont necessarily have to repot. But doing so is often recommended, to be safe.

Do wash the leaves (both sides) well (to removed ferts and pesticides)
