So I have had Pascal, my panther, for about three months. I got him when he was roughly 4 months old and so he is about 7 months old now. I have had so much trouble getting him to trust me (many members told me he is in his "teenage years" and so that is expected). Today however, I noticed he wasn't eating his crickets and so i ran to my fridge to grab some butter worms. I figured this would be the perfect opportunity to hand feed him and get him to associate my hand with food.
Well, about 4 butterworms later he ran out onto the cage door. So I slowly slipped my hand under his front hands as i kept him focused on a worm I had in my hand. Then I slowly lifted my hand and BOOM! my dream came true =) he was on my hand and calm as could be. He did run straight for my head but as soon as I raised my arm he worked his way back up to my hand.
Thanks to all the members who gave me all the advice !!!
