If my chameleon is closing his eyes while basking is he asleep or no. And is it bad for him to sleep during the day?

Basking during the day is not good . Go over the care sheet and make sure you on . If everything checks out then you may need a good vet .

Sleeping during the day can be a sign of illness , light or a vitamin A issue . Did this just start today or have you noticed before ? Lights you can fix .

yes sorry that's what I meant I was thinking sleeping under light or light to bright and eyes closed . So basking is what I types lol . Thank you for correction @Peachypink .

I mist three times a day and he still isn't eating that much yet. I saw him drinking today, and I upgraded his cage a lot and let him climb around a tree and some ropes in my room so he is always happy out there. I think he will start to eat more now that he has a great cage

How long do you mist for and what do his urates look like?
What about the suppliments?

I mist till the plants are dripping and I drip it from above the cage so it is kind of raining. I've been using the calcium powder without d3 but like I said he still hasn't eaten a lot. I will show you a pic of his urates when I get home
