Hey guys I'm just wondering when a chameleons first shedding normally is? My guy is 2 weeks shy of 3 months old and I have a feeling I can expect his first shed pretty soon. My past chams seemed to lighten in color and appear ashy right before their shed. My little one hasn't given any signs except I've noticed him Appearing darker the past couple days. I know one reason they will become darker is to absorb more heat. I've checked his basking area and it's right around 88 with lower gradient basking spots below so I don't think he's cold. Could his darkening be a sign of a future shed?
