Hey, guys! :)

We're the Hawks, and we just adopted our first veiled baby girl from PetCo and have completely and totally fallen in love. It was a pretty impulsive venture but we've most certainly been overcome with the addiction and obsession I've read so much about in this forum. We've spent probably 50% of our spare time the past week reading and researching on this awesome website (the other 50% has just been spent sitting and gawking at this magnificent creature), and finally decided it was time to make an account. We're so excited to become a part of this amazing community and are beyond enthusiastic about our future with chameleons!

So, without further ado, this is Potato (Poe for short). :D

We're so lovestruck. Isn't she a beaut?

Welcome to the forums and congrats on your first chameleon. Poe is a beautiful little lady. Female veileds are one of my favorite species with so much personality. I have a few blogs attached for you so that you can keep Poe healthy and happy. Do you know how old she is? Around 5 months you will need to start keeping a laying bin in her enclosure becaue the females can and often do lay eggs without a male even being around. I have you a couple of blogs about that too. The very best to you and little Poe. I'm looking forward to seeing her grow up here on the forums.

She is adorable! I love my veiled- tons of personality in a tiny dinosaur package... :) So glad your here!

Thanks so much for the warm welcome! :) It's really fun to have read a lot of your guys' threads and posts and then see you replying to ours! :D

Jannb, your blogs are magnificent! Thank you so much for supplying such great, informative material! Once we learned we had a girl, we were feeling a little stressed about the egg laying bit, but after reading your blogs, we feel much more confident and prepared to handle our little woman!

SolidSnake, I recognize coming across your name while getting enclosure inspiration... your set up is awesome and little Polly is just precious!

I'll relay all your kind comments to little Poe. ;) She's still kicking butt and taking names; really hunts those feeders like nobody's business! She's thoroughly hypnotizing and we can't get enough.

You guys are awesome. :) So excited to be here! Thanks again!
