Looking forward to this new adventure. I have kept fish (Saltwater) for 10 years or so. Poison dart frogs for a 3 years (5 years ago). Also have had a few paludariums over the years with anoles/frogs/toads.
Got the itch for something new. Been researching for a few months now and finally took the plunge to set up an enclosure. This will be for a young male panther. Either Ambilobe or Ambanja. Will start looking in a few weeks once everything is dialed in.
So far:
Reptibreeze deluxe 16x16x30 (I liked the plexiglass front door, LEDs are a plus I guess, thinking I will do some sunrise/setset lighing cycle similar to my reef tank)
Grape wood center piece
Plastic plants
Exo Terra background
Apex aquarium controller (I have 4 open outlets so I will control mistking and lights with the controller, will test out a temp probe in there too)
On the way:
Mistking starter set up
2 digital thermometer/hydro
18” slimline T8 for UVB
Dome light for heat w/50w bulb
Cricket feeder that I hope to convert to a feeding station

Down the road:
The company I work for Custom Cages will build it’s forever home. Thinking 36x24x42 or something similar
Couple mods I have made so far. I rearranged the bottom. Using the floor piece that came with the reptibreeze as the drain level. Drilled holes for drainage. The substrate basin will collect excess water. I tied up the drainage panel so I can remove the basin to empty and return it. Also since I put in the background it was blocking the back line of LEDs. So I flopped the back to the front. Definitely more light now.
