I got one that I've had for about 6 weeks now and he's doing great! Only thing that makes me unsure about them is I asked Mike how often to dust insects and he told me 3 times a week with calcium with d3(which seems like way too much d3 although I'm no expert). Other than that my guy seems super healthy and they have some great colors to choose from!

Flchams is great from what I hear. I will tell you that is not good advise unless he was talking about the Rapashy Calcium Plus. It is an all in one and had D3 in it but is safe to use daily. I use it for my panther. I know that Krammers has been recommending it for a while now. I wonder if it was a misunderstanding between the two of you?

Calcium with D3 should only be used twice a month.
Plain Calcium daily
Multivitamin twice a month.
Unless you use the Rapashy Calcium Plus.

I got the extreme large chameleon kit with the "Zoo Med Calcium w/ D3" and he told me to use it 3 times a week. I'm more than happy with the Cham I received from him. That was the only thing that kind of pushed me away from ordering another from him(even though I won't be buying a second one for a long while) I've used it twice a month and the multivitamin twice a month along with some calcium I ordered online daily.

Well, glad you knew where to come for the correct schedule. ;)

Regarding the D3. It depends on the brand. If it is for instance Sticky tongue farm minerall indoor, the levels are low and safe to use several times a week.

What do you guys recommend? Using a brand such as that where it can be used a few times a week or having two seperate brands (one with calcium with d3 and one without and a seperate multivitamin)?

Well different people will have different opinions.
I use mireall outdoor and indoor. And it works for me. My advise is if it works for you, carry on.

I agree with @Davecameos, everyone ends up developing their own methods and favorites.

The suppliment schedule in the caresheets is easy to follow for new Cham owners and gives the Cham the proper supplements.

As you get farther into Cham owning and you know the suppliments they need and are able to do more research you may choose something different.

Personally I use the Repashy Calcium Plus Monday through Friday and then plain Calcium on the weekends with my Panther. But I do know that it would be safe to use daily. For my veiled who came to me with MBD I do the opposite schedule of plain Calcium 5 days a week and the Repashy on the weekends. Then in the summer when I will be able to get them outside a lot I will use plain Calcium daily and a multi vitimin twice a month as the actual sun will help them produce the D3 they need.

You will also have to consider if the multi you are using has D3 in it. If it does then you use that twice a month and don't need the extra D3 powder.
