So, as most of us here do I'm trying to find treats for my cham. She's been on a steady diet of crickets, horned worms, superworms, and waxworms but of course variety is better. So, I have read lots of threads about mantis as feeders but my issue is that in my state (NJ) they are protected. I am not looking to breed them and cant (legally) keep any as pets, just as a nice treat for Xena every now and then. After shopping around I found a place that I can order flower mantis. They look like amazing bugs with many beautiful colors and patterns but they also seem to have a great number of horns on them. So my question is does anyone have experience with these mantis as feeders? Are they harmful to chams? General thoughts and comments are welcome
